Hadley’s Art Prize Residency

Drove to the studio at 6am to unload the carpet and get a clear start to the day before breakfast. 2 hours creative time fluffing in my studio space..

Two hours in the studio and it’s already looking pretty good.
Tourist trail
Beautiful day for a drive to explore the countryside. Headed to Willow Court New Norfolk to find opshops, letter set/printing shop and ‘Open the door’ exhibition. The latter was really cool, I couldn’t select one phone so I shot the lot.
Have to add a video however.
Another Bunnings trip
Needed another roll of carpet. Another trip to bunnings to grab hooks. The studio is half the size of the gallery space at Hadleys
10am South Hobart Reuse centre
Lunch with Bec & Max
Museum of wearable art – meet Rossy – amazing
6pm back to the studio to drop lamp stands from Rossy
Collect bottle tops to do at OWS
Pinned first 30 tiles to wall
Beans on toast for dinner
Sewing until after midnight
Blog catch up till 2am
