Artist Statement:
Marking Time spans a decade of practice, bringing together 66 small works made on both paper and used tea bags. These pieces hold traces of daily rituals and quiet gestures, stains, lines, marks made with ink, pastel, watercolour and tea leaves.
Time here is not linear but layered, built through repetition, revision and subtle variation. Each surface becomes a record of process and presence, where the act of making is also an act of keeping time, slow, intimate and enduring.
