Artist Statement:
Constructed entirely from salvaged can tabs and the ribbon from old VHS tapes, Elegance is a Waste Warrior.
Gliding gracefully across the stage the skirt is simply a fabric of interlocking can tabs. The yolk of crocheted can tabs holds the ends of VHS tape that floats on the gentle breeze as she walks.
