Hadley’s Art Prize Residency

Relieved to finally pick up ‘The Music Within’ from the freight depo in Hobart. It has had an interesting and eventtful journey from New Zealand but it is now here. Might be a few days before she’s unpacked.
They delivered the pallet to the car – lovely guy offered to help – I think he was bemused by the idea of the entire fitting in my VW Passat.
A big shout out to World of Wearabale Art for the packing and Mainfreight for helping it along the way. The biggest thank you to Gary Mainfreight Tassie for helping with the final leg from Melbourne 50kg across 5 boxes truly WOW. Wait till opening night for this one.
Happy with how the studio is coming together
After 2 unsuccessful trips to bunnings and trying every hook in the place I gave up and used the white rope over the exposed beams (thank you All About Bunting for your recycling).

A6 postcards and website updates
Michelle is working in the background to populate website and we had great fun tonight creating the A6 postcard I’d like to have for this Fridays exhibition.
