New life for throw away items. Shifting the waste/recycling perspective on consumer waste.
The repetition and labour intensive construction technique surprises the viewer and demands closer inspection.
Each tab has been removed from a discarded aluminium can, sorted, polished and tooled to remove rough edges. Metallic thread binds the tabs together into a fabric of bling. An ever changing, light reflective surface which both delights and puzzles the viewer.
